Isocrete RS is a multipurpose repair mortar, suitable for use in concrete polishing. Isocrete RS combines low shrinkage and high early strength. It requires only water to form a repair material, although aggregates can be added if desired. Suitable for both interior and exterior applications, this repair product is most commonly used to patch small areas which have been excavated due to damage.
Isocrete RS will take colour both in the form of Colourmix Powders and Concrete Dye. This allows the repair to be matched to the surrounding floor colour. The repair can be opened up to light traffic after as little as two hours. It is polishable at 24 hours. It can be applied as anything from a feather coat to 100mm depth.
Each bag of Isocrete RS is packaged at 25kg weight, which will yield 0.013m³ when mixed with 3.5 litres of water. Due to the fast acting nature of this product we advise that users carefully plan the amount needed. We usually make up around 20% more than we plan to need, as at an average temperature (20°c) the Isocrete RS will begin to set in around 15 minutes. The full application range of this repair mortar is 5-35°c.
All repairs must be carried out on a structurally sound concrete surface, free from loose or deteriorated concrete. It must also be cleaned of any dust, dirt, paint, oil or other debris. A full data sheet is available below.
