The Metabo RSEV 19-125 Renovation Concrete Grinder is engineered to grind difficult to reach areas of concrete. This powerful machine has a range of features that raise it above its competitors. Precision German engineering ensures the RSEV 19-125 is among the best concrete hand grinders available. Variable speed, ranging from 3800 – 8200 rpm (no-load) makes it perfect for spot grinding and removing coatings or adhesives. With an M14 spindle thread, this model will work with the majority of grinding cups and polishing adapters.
The most obvious feature is the die-cast aluminium dust shroud, built into the body of the grinder. The dust shroud’s shape creates a vortex between the flange and the shroud for optimised airflow. The vortex action removes concrete dust from the spindle, whilst cooling it. This both improves the dust extraction and enhances the grinder’s life. The surrounding brush floats on a spring mount, adjusting to collect as much dust as possible even on irregular floors. The shroud has a 35/41 mm extraction port to connect to a construction vacuum.
To provide a 125mm grinding cup with 0mm tolerance, the front of the shroud can be flipped up. This allows efficient dust extraction, even when grinding up to the very edge of a concrete floor.
The top handle is adjustable, so you can fix it to whichever position you find most comfortable. The rear of the machine features an elongated “Rat’s Tail” design for greater stability and comfort of use. A 4m rear power cable provides the freedom to position the grinder without restriction.
The Metabo RSEV 19-125 Renovation Concrete Grinder also features electronic soft start and restart protection, preventing unintentional start up following power interruption. The Metabo S-Automatic Safety Clutch decouples the drive in the event of the tool stopping unexpectedly.
